So after calling DHS his week it appears we have some movement on the application. A friend asked me what was happening and I said, not sure, will have to call to check. Well of course time got away from us and I didn’t end up calling until Wednesday this week. So today I receive a txt from one of our 4 referee’s. She had received her letter from DHS requesting a reference on us. So also then found out that my sister in-law also received her letter (although she wants me to complete it myself) not going to happen people, enough forms of my own! So I’m assuming my niece and our other friend received their letters.
We also received requests to complete medicals (again) and police checks that we have to complete at the DHS offices (cause of course getting them witnessed by Police officers won’t do) and also a guideline for doing our life stories. So this weekend will be taken up by some reading, some writing and making appointments for the doctors again. But sooner that we can get them done the sooner we move along that darn long and never ending list of things to do.
