Well I went for the job, not sure how I went, wish I did more homework now but its to late for that. I thought that there would be a second interview but no second chance to redeem myself ;(
It looked like they would only have 4 people interview for the job as well. Dam if only I had prepared more. At least I will know for next time though.
I have been trying to get onto DHS to be able to have our Police Checks done which is the only thing holding up getting our application finalised but they are sooo slow, I don’t know if they would organise a root in a brothel truly!

Job interviews are so hard. I hope yours went well and you hear back soon.

Oh, and I’ve been meaning to ask, which region are you in? We’re in the Northern region and have heard many stories of massive waits for social workers. Just wondering if it’s any better where you are.

Yeah, we’re still waiting for the education groups. We were delayed a bit because we needed to sort out our foster care status and get T-Rex’s birth certificate from SA.
How did you go with the questions on that form? I thought some were ridiculous, not to mention poorly worded. We had to make our own tickbox for our foster care situation since we were neither Approved & Waiting or Denied.

Bummer about the job. Maybe it is a good thing. My dad always used to console me by saying I probably wouldn’t be happy working there anyway. Onto the next interview!

Sorry to hear that you don’t feel good about how the interview went. Like Michelle said, it’s probably not a good fit for you anyway! Onward and upward!
