So just a little update – have received and completed out infant adoption application. Went out of my way to pick up the application, had mum drive down to witness our signatures, got the application in the mail by same day and then the postal workers went on strike! Next morning realised I had left a form out of the pack in all my haste, so drove down to DHS and they hadn’t even received the application! Should have just waited and drove the whole lot down the next day. However either way it has been sent and should now be in the process of being looked at …………… hopefully anyway.
